ReadThe following five tracks ("Let Us Make a Record," "I Got The New World In My View," "Power," "New Jersualem," and "God's World Will Never Pass Away") were performed by Sister Gertrude Morgan and recorded with tambourine live in her living room—which she called the Prayer Room—in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1970. These songs by Morgan are part of the album Let’s Make a Record, originally released by Preservation Hall Recordings and reissued by the record label Ropeadope in 2005.

At this ceremony, organized by the New Orleans Museum of Art and featuring music by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, friends and supporters of Morgan convened to dedicate a bronze plaque reading "Jesus Is My Airplane" on her previously unmarked grave.
